Hey, Raff here. A Cleric is from the healing class of characters. Rift Cleric leveling is not too difficult if you know how. Don’t, however, get the idea that you can heal thyself all the way to level 50. It ain’t gonna happen. So, there is an approach that works pretty good with a Cleric that hugely reduces the time spent leveling and wasted by dying and going the wrong way. With this method I have leveled a Cleric to over 40 in a matter of days. Check this out, I’m going to share it with you here.
You need to build a soul tree spec up from three sources: Druid, Justicar, and Shaman like this:

What is the reason for this Rift Cleric leveling build and how does it help?
With this build you can get a mightily destructive damage-inflicting two-hander to fight with and deal out massive burst damage (gotta luv that!). Your pet is kept safely in the background where it can keep you healed, absorb damage, and cast spells for you. When you go up levels your burst impact increases.
Here’s the real ticket: Your starting points should be put into Shaman with overflow to Justicar. Do this up to level 17 then dump them to Druid but maintain your focus at Shaman. Six points for Justicar gets increased damage output and yields a heal.
Do Rotation and other tips:
A melee configured Cleric will rapidly waste most enemies. Use a Faerie pet for best healing and added aggressiveness to the Cleric. Try opening with Crushing Blows and watch for Massive Blow pops and use it. Rift Cleric leveling without the melee configuration takes a lot longer.
- Keep your pet safe and take care to know where it is. Don’t let your friendly partner bite it. Your pet is purposed for a support role so restrain your impulse to let it tank or deal out a lot of damage. You will weaken its ability to aid your healing.
- Keep your buffs up (I’ve said this before). Keep enhancements for handling damage. This is your control mechanism for damage control and without them you’re just not gonna be happy when your damage drops and you are at risk. Nuf said.
